Stronger Families Initiative
STRONG FAMILIES are the building blocks for STRONG COMMUNITIES
Our Mission & Vision
The Stronger Families Initiative (SFI) is dedicated to creating a safe environment for youth mentorship and activities, empowering individuals and families to achieve their goals, and fostering supportive families and relationships to reduce community violence in Bridgeton, NJ.
We believe that building strong families can also build strong communities that will ultimately prevent community violence.
Program Description
SFI provides safe activities for youth as a positive outlet, focusing on violence prevention, intervention, and education. Through mentorship and positive environments, we guide our youth in making positive choices about their future.
Additionally, we assist individuals and families in developing action plans to address immediate needs, set measurable long-term goals, and track progress toward goal achievement. SFI offers support for all needs and goals, such as finding better housing, sending a child to college, or even helping a family member rebuild their life after incarceration. SFI is here to guide and walk alongside them through their journey.
